Andy Lee White: News and Stuff

Scott Patton, who co-produced ALW's album KUDZU ANIMALS, performed last night at Madison Square Garden in New York City with Atlanta supergroup Sugarland. Scott, who plays lead guitar for Sugarland, joined the group for a rousing performance of their hit song "Something More" at the Country Music Awards Show. Sugarland was nominated for three CMA awards. Scott co-produced KUDZU ANIMALS along with ALW and he also played many of the guitar parts along with some piano and bass. Another note about Scott Patton...it's Scott's birthday this Friday, November 18th. Scott isn't telling his age and ALW is mum as well. "When you get to be as old as Scott and me, you run out of fingers and toes to count the years on." says ALW

ANDY LEE WHITE recently donated CDs and posters to our troops overseas who are fighting the war on terror. ALW donated through the Florida branch of www.give2thetroops.org .
Give2thetroops sends care packages to our brave men and women who are serving in the armed forces overseas. Lysa White (no relation to ALW) is the director of the Florida branch of www.give2thetroops.org and she invites anyone who would like to show support for our troops to log on and find the branch nearest you. Donations can be actual items requested by the troops or money to help cover the cost of shipping items to our troops.
ALW says, "I support our troops 100%. This is a defining moment in our nation's history and it is imperative that we wipe out terror organizations and anyone who supports acts of terror aimed at our great nation. The fact that we now have an all volunteer army makes these soldiers even bigger heroes. I applaud the work these brave men and women do for our safety. My only concern is that our borders here at home are not being protected. We desperately need to control the flow of illegals streaming into our country and draining our resources. Our open borders also invite potential terrorists to just walk right in."

KUDZU ANIMALS co-producer and player, Scott Patton, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Wednesday night in Los Angeles, CA. Scott was playing guitar with the hot, new country act, Sugarland. Sugarland, like Andy Lee White, hail from Atlanta, GA. The show was rated a huge success by all of those who watched. Look for Scott to play some live shows with ALW in the near future. KUDZU ANIMALS the long awaited first solo album from ANDY LEE WHITE is set to be released March 6, 2005. It features eleven (one louder than ten) songs written by ALW.
